handmade items for those in need

Projects
Some of our sewing projects are listed here - is there something we can help you with?
Fabric face masks
Face masks of varying styles and fabrics are being made by our volunteers, and are supplied free of charge to vulnerable people, charitable or healthcare staff, or to those in genuine need. Items donated cannot then be sold.
Disclaimer – fabric masks are worn at your own discretion and we accept no responsibility for injuries or accidents which arise as a result. Please note fabric masks do not protect the wearer from viruses; they simply reduce the risk of transmission. Fabric masks should not be used in a clinical environment.
The WHO offer advice on when and how to use masks. The page also contains links to videos and infographics.
Button bands
Button bands are also known as ear savers, sore ear savers, or mask holders, and can be made by our volunteers (sewing, knitting, crochet), along with headbands with buttons.
Breast Cancer/mastectomy support pillows

These are offered to patients by Norfolk's Big C cancer charity, and can be made by following the pattern on their website.
